Fees & Insurance
Dancing Dialogue is an out-of-network mental healthcare provider. Clients pay for sessions at the time of service and are provided with a “superbill” that they may then submit to their insurer for reimbursement.
We believe quality healthcare should be available to all. For those without out-of-network coverage and facing financial hardship, we have a limited number of “sliding-scale” spots available with some practioners.
Rates:
Individual, Couples, or Family Sessions with Suzi: $310
Individual, Couples, or Family Sessions with Renee: $250
Individual, Couples, or Family Sessions with Jenn or Kelley: $210
Individual, Couples, or Family Sessions with Elizabeth: $165
Please email us for sliding scale rate options. Family and couples sessions may include a $50 additional charge.
Questions to ask your insurance about coverage
To confirm that your insurance coverage will reimburse your sessions at Dancing Dialogue. Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:
Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage? If so, does it cover teletherapy as well as in-person psychotherapy?
Do I have a separate yearly deductible for mental health or is it included in my medical deductible?
Do I have coverage to see a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Creative Arts Therapist who is out-of-network?
What is my deductible?
What percentage of the therapy session cost will be reimbursed to me (eg. 60%, 80%, etc.)?
What is the mental/behavioral health claims Mailing Address for me to send my claim?
Good Faith Estimate Notice:
As of January 1st, 2022:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises, dfs.ny.gov, or call (800) 985-3059.
