Clinical Work
Dr. Tortora will always be a clinician first and foremost. Her private practice, Dancing Dialogue LCAT LMHC PLLC, with offices in New York City and Cold Spring, NY, is Dr. Tortora’s primary space for practicing therapy. But did you know that Dr. Tortora has also served as Senior Dance/Movement Therapist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Integrative Medicine Department since 2003? She established the program and originated the role through the generosity and support of Dréa’s Dream: The Andréa Rizzo Foundation, for whom she also serves International Medical Creative Therapy Spokesperson.
Additionally, Dr. Tortora remains involved with ongoing clinical research projects including Dr. Beatrice Beebe’s September 11th Mothers and Infant's Project and her own Lullaby Dance Project.
