Based on the intricate relationship between the brain and body, the instructor will introduce deeper ways to understanding the role that multisensory learning plays in all levels of a young child’s development, using the Ways of Seeing program. This relationship-based program emphasizes the primary significance of movement and multisensory experience in strengthening the attachment relationship through nonverbal and experientially-based engagement. This perspective will be applied across a continuum of infant and early childhood mental health practice, with typical parent-infant relationships and special populations.
